Personal Training
Personal Training is reserved for clients who don't have any Chronic Conditions or injuries that have lasted longer than 6 months (without proper treatment)
As a qualified Exercise Scientist, I have an extensive range of knowledge related to metabolic processess that underpin the goals the people want to reach with Personal Training.
These include:
-
Weight Loss
-
Muscle Building
-
Body Composition
-
Diet Advice
-
Program Tracking
-
Program and Exercise prescription
-
Form correction
Initial Session
Similar to our EP services, we will need to go through an Initial Consult with you to analyse your history and do some goal setting. This can include looking at Exercises that you enjoy and helping to work them into your program. These Sessions typically take 45 minutes and will include some functional training assessments at the end
Affordability
Personal Training is more affordable in the long term than some of our other services, mainly due to the decreased risks that are added onto training with injury or chronic conditions.
Continued Sessions
Subsequent sessions after your initial are used to help you progressing towards your goals, while also holding you accountable. These sessions are either 30 or 45 minutes long. 30 minute sessions are advised for those new to training, while 45 minute sessions give the best bang for buck when it comes to stimulating the benefits of Resistance and Cardiovascular based exercise.
Health Care Rebates
As of now, Personal Training is not covered under medicare but may be covered under some Private Health Insurance policies. Feel free to reach out to your Insurance company to see if you will be covered for Personal Training. The same thing can be done for NDIS clients
