HICAPS - Health Care Rebates
Depending on your private health policy, you may be eligible for a rebate on Exercise Physiology sessions. This includes
Code 102 - Initial Consult >45 min
Code 202 - Standard Consult 30-60 min
Code 302 - Extended Consult >60 min
Code 402 - Standard Consult requiring travel
You will still be required to pay a gap payment.
Referral for Treatment
Due to being Medicare providers, clients looking for Exercise Physiology intervention can receive an EPC program (Sometimes called a CDM plan) from their GP. This program entitles you to a Medicare rebate of $58 per session. We also receive referrals from other treating physicians which won't fall under Medicare but can still be accepted by the clinic. In some instances, people with Type 2 Diabetes may be eligible for rebates when assessed by an EP. Talk to your doctor if you wish to gain access to this rebate.
NDIS, CTP and Workers Comp
NDIS - We are an Unregistered provider and can only give NDIS services to Self-managed individuals on the NDIS as long as it fits within your funding policy
CTP/Workers Comp - Those who are approved for Exercise Physiology through their insurance provider can organise with the clinic for rehabilitation. Our goal is to return you to work as soon as possible.
